Cookie policy

What Team Spark® places on your device, what it does not, and how to change your mind. The short version: nothing beyond what is needed to keep you signed in runs unless you say yes.

Who we are

Team Spark is a trading name of UXclinician Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what cookies and similar storage are, how Team Spark uses them, and what your choices are. It should be read with our privacy notice.

What cookies are

Cookies are small pieces of text a website asks your browser to keep. They let a site recognise your browser on the next page or the next visit. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them. Browsers also offer local storage, a similar place a site can keep a small setting. This policy covers all of these.

What Team Spark uses

We group what a site can store into three categories. Team Spark uses the first, may use the second only if you allow it, and never uses the third.

Strictly necessary

These are needed for the Service to do what you asked of it. The law does not require consent for them, and they cannot be switched off.

Analytics, only if you allow it

Off unless you turn it on. [NEEDS: confirm whether an analytics tool will be added; at the time of writing none is installed.] If we add analytics and you accept it, it would give us anonymous, aggregated counts of which pages are visited and how people arrive, to help us improve the Service. It would never be used to identify you, to build a profile, or to advertise to you. Decline and nothing about the Service changes for you.

Advertising and tracking

Not used at all. There are no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, no social-media pixels, and no data sold or shared with advertisers. There is nothing here to switch off.

Third parties

[NEEDS: confirm whether Team Spark loads fonts from Google Fonts or another CDN. If it does: “This site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. Google does not set cookies for Google Fonts, but serving the font files means Google receives your IP address and browser information.” If fonts are self-hosted, delete this paragraph.]

Separately from cookies, our hosting provider records what any web server records when it serves a page, including your IP address in server logs. Our privacy notice explains how that is handled.

Pages on this site may link to other websites. Those sites are outside our control and set their own cookies under their own policies.

Your choices

When you first arrive, a bar at the bottom of the page asks what you allow. Decline is as easy as Accept, and nothing beyond the strictly necessary runs until you choose. Settings lets you decide category by category.

You can change your mind at any time, without asking us: select Cookie settings in the footer of any page, adjust the toggle, and save. Withdrawing consent is as simple as giving it.

You can also delete cookies, or tell your browser to refuse them, in your browser's own settings. If you block the sign-in cookie you will not be able to stay signed in, but the public pages of the site will still work.

More information

You can learn more about cookies at the ICO's guide to cookies and at allaboutcookies.org.
